    My hard drive is getting noisy and I'm going to need to replace it sooner than later before it fails, Is there a limit to how big an internal hard drive we can install?

    Is there a limit to how big an external hard drive we can add?

    Personally, who cares, 500GB is deemed to be enough yet Sony is supposedly allowing the PS4 internal HDD to be user upgradeable.

    Is there a limit to how big an external hard drive we can add?

    I know nintendo limited it when they said you could add external storage. Is Microsoft setting a limit? I was going to a 4tb external when I buy the system.

    You would need to send your console to Microsoft to get it repaired if it is having issues.

    Replacing the internal hard drive yourself would be a violation of the terms & conditions.

    Just an addition to the above. If you choose to purchase an EXTERNAL hard drive then you can get a USB 3.0 compatible drive ranging in size from 256GB to 16TB

    Just an addition to the above. If you choose to purchase an EXTERNAL hard drive then you can get a USB 3.0 compatible drive ranging in size from 256GB to 16TB

    I care. As time goes on, that will fill up fast if games are on blu ray and could go up to 50GB a game. That's only 10 games. I'd like to be able to pop a 3tb drive onto my machine and not worry about additional hard drive space.
