Is there a game mode with no mechs?

Just wondering because I typically don't like mech games, however the player to player combat in this game looks fantastic. I think that it would be awesome to play a COD=esque game from the original creators of the series.

for the last 5 years everytime the new nhl comes out i say "this will be the year they bring in a pond hock type mode



a mode where u can play 1on1 2on2 etc but every friggen year it never happens someone out there has to have a

No, because that would defeat the entire premise behind the game which is Titanfall.

 

You don't need to ever get into your Mech, there a lot to do on foot!

 

Most of games I played I just sent Titan off to fight or guard. When guarding I perched above and used pistol to take out players trying to jump on it to take it out. It was Fun!!

The whole premise of the game is based around the Titan's.... so I'm guessing there won't be. But hey, you never know.

 

The gunfights in this game are pretty good and remind me alot of MW2 for some reason. Maybe its the way the weapons handle or its the hit detection, dunno.

 

When I saw the last titan standing game mode I thought the exact same thing, "I wonder if there will be a titan-less game mode" which I agree doesn't make sense in terms of the point of the game, but plenty of other games have odd game modes that don't necessarily
follow the premise of the game (COD zombies). I think it would kind of be boring, since your anti-titan weapon becomes pointless.

 

That might happen if Respawn does a spin-off game, "PilotFall"

 

Titanfall without mechs would just be another COD. In fact if it wasn't for the mechs and vertical gameplay, I would have NO interest in this game. I have been burnt out on COD since after WAW. You don't have to use the titan.

 

The pilot to pilot gunfights were great in the beta. Great hit detection and everything was smooth and fast, however, Respawn has specifically stated there is NO Titan-less gamemodes.

 

Thankfully no. Most of the fun in each round was cycling from foot patrol to titan battles and back.

 

I'm a bit of a Big Team fan in Halo multiplayer so having mechs around just adds to the fun imo.
