Is there a FPS tracker for all games?

Some games such as Rainbow Six Siege have an FPS tracker that you can enable from the game menu, but other games do not seem to have this available. Is there any way for me to use a FPS tracker on all games?

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. Unfortunately, there isn't one for all games. There is no app you can get on the console to allow this. Hope this helps.

How am I lying?

My monitor refreshes 60 times per second.

I can lock frame rate to 30 frames per second via command console.

I can lock frame rate to 60 frames per second via command console.

I can see the difference between the game running at 30 fps and 60 fps.

You think my system is suffering from rate drops.

The frame rate tracker says my game is running at constant 30 fps when I lock it to 30.

The frame rate tracker says my game is running at constant 60 fps when I lock it to 60.

The frame rate tracker says my game is running at constant 299 fps when I don't lock the frame rate (it is unlocked by default).

The frame rate tracker disagrees with your hypothesis that my system is suffering from frame rate drops.

Where is the lie?

I like all the points but the functional tracker point is most important to me, ideally use the built in tracker as its satisfying to see progress as you play via the pinned tracker.

Speed run achievements put me off a game as I rarely have the required skill level to pull off those type of achievements

It's a known issue.

Sometimes the in-game tracker resets achievements already unlocked, that means your gamertag has the achievements, but not the save file.

You can often solve this by looking at the in-game tracker in the menu, and re-do the requirements for the achievements that has resets.

If all achievements are unlocked in the in-game tracker, just keep playing different modes, and it will unlock.

The crown will appear on stats that you are in the top 3 of your friends, for example in a FPS game that has a kill tracker if you are the one with most kills among your friends you will have a gold crown, silver if you are second place and bronze if you are third
