Is there a CONSISTENT way to make DLC show up for BC games?

I've had this issue as well as other friends, the only thing we have in common is that we transferred our accounts to a newer xbox.

When I check a backwardscompatible game under the "manage game" option on the xbox one, it shows that I have all of the dlc installed, but when I boot up the game it says I have some or none of the dlc installed.

I've tried power cycling the console and that didn't work.

I've made sure that my account is the home account on the console.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the game and dlc has random results. I can never get all of these dlc to show up on the game.

I've noticed that thus only affects BC games that happen to be game pass games, and I only started having this issue about a month ago.

I own the games physically, and for some of them I also own them digitally from digital codes that came with remasters.

None of my Gears of War 360 titles show dlc while in game.

Oblivion shows no dlc owned.

360 Halo titles show no dlc owned.

All of these show that I have all of the dlc installed when I select "manage games" and they show that all are installed.

Please don't say "check manage game" because I've done that, and that's what everyone says to do.

Have to be sincere: i was sure that oblivion had dlcs on xbox one but i will have to check again.

Anyway: probably with series x they will ‘fix’ all of these little problems that BAckward compatibility has (some game is missing, some crashes, dlcs not always show up). For halo and gears they are probably not there because they actually are playable with
a new version, at least all of the halos and gears 1.

This would be up to the developer to make this BC. I haven't seen too many games that require extra peripherals show up on the BC list. Most of the hardware doesn't work with the Xbox one.

there is the odd DLC which is not available via the BC program, as it is up to the devs/publisher if a game can become BC it is also up to the devs/publishers what DLC is available too.

you may need to ask EA why it is not included.

How about a consistent way of handling our games? It shows up in the store (where we BUY it) as a large icon, so why does it change into a small icon after we have downloaded it?

It really makes the dashboard look messy and sloppy.

Unfortunately it is not a BC game, and will not be making its way to the BC program as they announced that they are not doing anymore. They just recently released the last few games to go BC on the Xbox One.
