Is their a way I can get my xbox not to do this?

It is required to have the Xbox Wireless Controller turned on. To prevent your controller from turning off while you're using the keyboard and mouse you can try to plug it in directly using a USB cable.

Normally the issue would be resolved by following the instructions below.

1. Turn off Xbox One.
2. Unplug power.
3. Plug the power back to Xbox One 30 seconds later.
4. Press and hold Bind and Eject at the same time (don't release).
5. Press and release the Power button, and then you will hear the startup chime.
6. When you hear the second startup chime, you can release the bind and eject buttons.
7. Select Reset this Xbox on the screen.
8. Select Keep games and apps.

Sorry, but yes. A device ban is permanent. There is no way to contact the enforcement team regarding them.

you are responsible for your account, letting others access it is against the terms anyway, you should have had a pin protecting your account so your step brother could not do anything, account phishing is a big no no and is a perma ban full stop, if a device ban then that is it nothing can be done and not even support can help, if an account ban then you get one review which you do via the enforcement site, if denied then thats it, support cannot help either.

There is nobody else to contact, no higher ups, no second chances. A perma ban of an account means losing all remaining gold/gamepass time, all games are too.

This is complete bs , i payed Xbox for 6 years , switched over from playstation because I thought xbox was better i give them buisness and they cant even talk to me about a problem? What happene to second chances . Everybody deserves second chances.
