Is the Xbox wireless adapter discontinued?

My Xbox series controller frequently disconnects from Bluetooth on PC even when trying different Bluetooth adapters, so I’d like to try the official wireless adapter. Is this temporarily out of stock or discontinued?

The Xbox 360 controller, assuming you’re using wireless only charges via USB. You would need to get the now discontinued 360 wireless adapter

Any Xbox one controller will connect via USB, Bluetooth, or the Xbox wireless adapter. You need to use USB or the Xbox adapter for headset support

Hello SalemGhost, the equipment has not been discontinued but the fact that it is out of stock may be due to several factors including the lack of chips, but we have no official information from Microsoft about this.

I never found it in the Microsoft store. I tried Newegg, Amazon, etc and looking at the customer reviews, they got the older (bigger) version of the dongle, not the smaller one.

Probably is a high demanded item
But Microsoft keep selling it. You may need to keep an eye or track the item with a third party tool

The adapter is not discontinued, but few days ago I saw stock for it. Now I seeing it as sold out.

Another option if you want to get it, is look for it with a third party seller like Amazon, Walmart, etc.
