    Is the XBOX team even listening? Xbox One.


    There are legions of horribly disappointed XBOX One owners that are struggling for any information around when and if the basic functionality we have grown to love on the 360 will ever be brought to the XBOX One. As an owner of the One I cant say how disappointed
    I am in the console. No streaming from the console. No more voice messages. No more USB support No more low battery indicator for the controller. Horrible Blue Ray and DVD playback issues. Party system is horrible The voice commands are just a gimmick and
    buttons are quicker for everything. etc etc etc. Seems this console was not ready for launch and this is really not an "all in one entertainment console" as MS advertised it. Its really been a disappointment for me. It would be really good for this site to
    have an area that lists what features are being worked on and what they acknowledge as an item that is coming soon. At least the loyal fans would have a glimmer of hope, right now I feel like a sucker for buying this thing, it cant do half of what my 360 did.

  3. Does the Inforcement Team even care?

    Anyways I've got a little update. After talking to Xbox Support, I've figured out that there was a glitch in the system where the UAI had finished in a few days of filing one. What this means is I had recieved the Emails telling me my Account has been fully
    restored and I should follow the steps to reset the password and recover it back. I admit, I was first told it would take about 16-25 days for them to Investigate my Account and I got it back at 4 days, I just thought I was lucky lol. The Xbox Support guy
    confirmed I had recieved those Emails, but told me to just ignore them because he said the Investigation was still ongoing. But this still doesn't explain why the Enforcment Team said they've looked very carfully into the UA and can confirm that's not due
    to the Infraction and the Suspension will stand as issued. I'm assuming they tried to look into it, but after not finding it, decided to say that's not the reason I had the Infraction.

    I have found that to ask questions pertaining to the faults currently found on the XBOX ONE a person will get hit from all sides by fanatic like supporters of this device. I keep hearing the massive voices of "give it time" "remember when the 360 first came
    out," "didn't you read the signs before you made the purchase on what it wasn't going to do?" etc. In the end I was stupid and assume that the system would have very similar pieces as the 360 (like XBOX music being able to purchase or collect music videos
    to your file, HBO/Cinemax anywhere you want to go, a lengthy list of previous made arcade games that could be created for the XBOX One, just to name a few. But I guess the real XBOX One will appear sometime in December 2014 when the bulk of games will be available
    and most likely the system a little cheaper than what we paid for it. I should have waited until say first of March 2014 and purchased the system so I could play Titanfall when it is released this year, but I agree, I have been debating on this purchase since
    the holidays and asking, "was this worth what I am getting out of it?" So far the answer is "no", but the diehard supporters here will still get mad for speaking ill of this device and so my advice just wait and hope for the best, apparently things will get
    better but I fear they will get a lot worse before the people in upper management at Microsoft look at fixing the problems.

    Its sad that people think a new generation console should "start over" and not have the basic functionality the previous console has had for years. Anyone who makes that statement is a pure fanboy.

    I used to be a 360 fanboy, but this XBOX one is like a kick in the nuts.

    I knew or had read that the XBOX ONE did not have backward capabilities for previous 360 games, but was Microsoft creating a new wheel during development? I would think that during the discussions that the took a list of things that the 360 had available
    in every category and attempt to shift the same capabilities to the ONE? But I was wrong and I made the error of not totally researching every note that came out on Gamer magazines, cliff notes from fanatic fans at the E3 show, and sit and watch hours of deep
    discussions on Youtube from supporters who had the inside track with what the system was going to do. Do I think that the amount paid for the ONE is way over priced for the services rendered so far? yeah. But like I said in the previous statement, there is
    no one to blame but the customer for forking over the huge price tag for this massive beast. I have been a XBOX fan since XBOX came out. I still have my original XBOX sitting in the upstairs bedroom where my kids play Star Wars Battlefront and Battlefront
    2. The entire house is full of gamers. We support Microsoft with an ONE and 3 (360s) and a XBOX original. I thought there would be a huge world of stuff on release date but it seems like the wheel had to be invented again and that we are missing a few bolts
    as well. So if we were expecting to be off and running at a high rate of speed then we screwed up because we aren't even coasting yet and I think it won't be until near the end of the year that we see significant improvements on the capabilities of the ONE.
    But I am not an expert nor do I claim to have any insight to the workings of the gaming industry, I am sure there are hundreds of folks who will read your caption and dive bomb on it to remind us all that we paid for it and if we don't like it we "can always
    take it back and collect a refund."

    DuFFul, I totally support XBOX and it's products, I just have not totally accepted the "hurry up and wait" approach to seeing the XBOX ONE come to it's full potential. I am disappointed, but I am not tossing the system off the back patio. I just had a few
    issues and that was it. I play FORZA 5 and DR3. Having issues with FIFA 14 right now but it seems like everyone else is so I am not alone.

    I wish I would have trusted my gut and boxed this thing up and returned it 2 days after I bought it like I wanted to. The only thing patience has gotten me is stuck with this silly console that does nothing I want it to.

    I'm starting to wonder if the Xbox can handle all the things you guys are asking for in its current state,

    Seems like a lot of people are having sluggish issues and resorting to hard restarts.

    [/quote]I understand that you're upset, but I've seen you voice your frustration in many other threads where the issues of the X1 console isn't even the topic of discussion. Please refrain from doing that - posting in 1 thread (this 1) is more than enough.
    If you'd like, there is also a feedback forum you can use that might suit your needs far better than here.

    Microsoft does not own HBO.....it is up to HBO to make their app, and they are taking their time with that....complain in an HBO forum if you want HBO GO on xbox one. Referring to the OP's signature.....

    I'm sure they're listening, they showed one of the greatest examples of actually listening to their users and modifying the original xbox one philosophy (a mistake in my opinion, but that's off topic). I personally can't think of any other tech company that
    does that. Either way, yes, you must have patience, nerves of steel brother, things take time to happen, and accusing xbox team of "not listening" is just annoying and disrespectful to them. I think they do a hell of a job and I want them to take as much time
    as need.
