Is the Xbox Online Service Currently Down?

It shows all my internet connections are fine even when i run the network & multiplayer tests. It also shows which friends i have online from my friends list..but i can't connect to any online games, none of the marketplace or other tabs populate anything
(says nothing is available at this time) and even when i click on my profile it just says it can't be displayed right now.

Anyone know if the issue is on my end or microsoft's?

All friends appearing offline

Sorry to here about you all having this issue. Xbox Live Service Status is currently reporting that "Social and Gaming" is limited. So, that may be why you are unable to connect to party's, games, etc.. This may be the reason why you can currently not see
your friends online. Hopefully the issue is resolved soon! Xbox Service Status:

Digital Games won't work

Online services have issues.Nothing you can do about that,it happens.

There is currently a service alert up affecting some peoples digital content.

The servers were experiencing some issues but they are resolved now. Give it some time and it will be working properly again.

Currently Xbox is having some issues with the online services, which includes parties, and social services. You can always check what service is down by going to https://beta.support.xbox.com/ or

Xbox Live is currently down they are working on the problem and your online play return to normal in the next few hours.

oh and pink Playstation Network was down for 3 months nearly

Also Xbox does there updates regular to insure the quality of your
service is top notch
