Is the Xbox One Really Worth Purchasing Right Now?

I think the Xbox One was worth purchasing over 2 months ago.

Depends what you want, I have no regrets buying mine, if I hadn't and I was thinking of, I would get it after the 4th of march update, that way you don't need to worry about the current setup.

The next option if there are no games that you want at present is buy it when the game you wants coming out, or any other rumours like the white console get confirmed.

I'm sorry I don't know about Peggle but crimson dragon is a "Full" game there is nothing lacking in it.

It has a plethora of levels and multiple difficulty's it actually takes time too 100% and not only that they are proving to continue too support it as they have already released a new mp mode and new achievements. At that rate a DLC is sure to follow.

Tisk tisk not a real game. I hope you own it before you stated that. Sorry that's just my opinion

Get an x1 if you want OP if not don't. It is a cool new system

Nah, not right now. Wait and see what January numbers look like. They should be coming around pretty soon. I'm still afraid this thing will completely flop. Also rumors of a price drop means you could save some money if you wait a little while.

Rumors are rumors until solid evidence exists. Why would the price drop for any console yet. There is currently no console competition but the 2 we all talk about. This makes no reason to drop prices.

You can't buy anything else like them.

Potentially after steam box. I think that will be a huge hit. If it is open source then the games available for it will be very interesting. I personally can't wait.

Will never leave my xbox behind though.

@ OP - This is a great time to get a one. Titanfall is about to drop! There are a bunch of other awesome titles that will be following shortly.

@ sceprent - I'm in the midst of building a PC...Not because I am disappointed by the one. I'm am tired of being limited by consoles in general. You can only be as advanced as the other million console gamers budgets. I love the ease of consoles but I think
it's time to see what the pc master race is all about. I will continue to play on my consoles...unless it really is that good on the dark side.

The one is going to be awesome, people just need to give it a chance. I bet after the first big update it will be right back on track. Give it another year or two and the games are going to be sick....Not as sick as Tomb Raider 1080p, ultra settings at
over 100 fps - Bioshock infinite 1080p ultra settings 105 avg fps - FC3 1080p highest settings 75 fps (A few benchmarks from the PC I'm building). But people need to realize the deal they are getting on the xbox one and ps4. More important than the 'extra
power' the ps4 offers, you are going to get the better console gaming experience with microsoft. Let them get a few updates in and they will leave sony in the dust yet again. The ps3 was more powerful then the 360, but the 360 was a far superior gaming experience.
Expect the next gen consoles to end up the same.

another Forza Horizons game. Right now the One is way too expensive for what it is, also keep following the game reviews between the PS4 and the XBOne.

i would say the x1 is a great console yes it does have its problems but so does ps4. i myself have 11 real games as well for the x1 and then a few of the downloaded ones like KI and halo that is by far more than what ps4 has right now as of today, sure
they are planning on more but the psn network is scares for games like the x1 is, i have a friend that has told me. the argument over sony better than ms isnt true i think, sure ms came out and said what their x1 cant do and sony said the complete opposite
and heck they said right from day one with sony and most of that was a lie, to get people to buy, my friends biggest issue. asside from that the tv stuff is great, i like walking into my living room and say xbox on and my tv, cable box and entertainment system
all turn on i love my x1, love the games overall happy.

Titanfall doesn't really interest's me, I like racing games and action/adventure games way more than first person shooters, I do like battlefield games though. But I done own Battlefield 4 already.
