    Is the Xbox One Dashboard broken?


    Today, my xbox won't load into my dashboard. I can get my notifications popping up, and if I hold down the guide button, I can get the action screen, but the dashboard wont load at all, no sounds when moving, nothing. This happened to my friend lately too. Anyone else? If it has anything to do with an insider update I don't know.

    You can install Operation Broken Eagle now. I went to Games on the Xbox One dashboard and saw it in Add-ons.

    Does this happen with a controller connected with usb cable?

    To test it...

    Turn the console off. Connect the controller with usb to console and turn the console on.

    If you still get unresponsive controller you may have to refresh the System OS keeping Games and apps.

    Updated both controllers, still getting the same issues.. I hit the Xbox button on controller, the menu is completely unresponsive at times, Friends list won't open, none of the options respond to A.. using the DPad still skips over items, digital keyboard still goes to top left.. dumb

    May I know if you tried factory resetting the console to see if that helps?

    (But keeping games and apps)

    Go to settings > system > console info > reset and then select keep my games and apps

    If you already tried that and just to confirm. Are you using a stable OS for your console. Right?

    If that doesn't help and in case you didn't try it, could be nice perform an offline update for your console. In that way Xbox system will be installed/updated from scratch.

    Before that and in case you have USB accessories connected to your console please disconnect everything and check

    Xbox released a controller update on the 21st and I have controller issues right after.. I'm sure they're unrelated
