Is the Xbox one becoming the new 360?

Seems like there are more B/C games announced now for the Xbox one than new games. Has anyone wondered about this? Maybe they are saving the majority of their new games for their slightly faster slim model and really relying on this Scorpio model for the
new games in 2017. Really, isn't there more B/C games on the Xbox one than Xbox one games? What do you guys think?

actually considering the Kinect is required I forsee a lot of Kinect breakdowns becoming the new RROD so that will be the number one selling acessory

 

It's easier/quicker to make a 360 game bc than it is to make a new game.

 

I think Microsoft maybe trying to get more peps OFF Xbox 360 and on Xbox 1, lol. I've had Xbox 1 since it launched I even went to the midnight launch in NZ, and I still play more on Xbox 360. I have a full Xbox 360 friends list, and only a quarter of them
have an Xbox 1, the rest play on 360. Despite Xbox 360 having weaker hardware, more peps (youth slang for people) including me are playing on Xbox 360 because Microsoft did such a great job with it. The layout of Xbox 360's UI looks more kid friendly too.
The Social page shows you and your friends avatars especially in XBL Parties. Xbox 1's UI looks more like Windows 10 but it misses out on that kid-like feel UI which Xbox 360 has.

Also a lot of peps on here complained how after launch, you couldn't change the dash background or there was no voice messages. And how it couldn't do half the things Xbox 360 could with the features that had and which Xbox 1 firstly left out. It got so
bad they had to make 2 policy reversals and ended up creating an official feedback site.

But things on Xbox 1 are a lot better than what they were like at launch. More games, especially coming this year. Just remember Xbox 360's game library is H U G E . That's why it may seem there are more B/C games.

 

There are over 1000 games on Xbox 360 ready to be BC titles on Xbox one,more than 4 games release every months

But it takes around 3 years to make a new Xbox one game.

Since launch,we got around 4 first/second party games every years.

Nothing to really be worried about.

But since our game library will follow us,there will be the same amount of Xbox 360 and One games available on Xbox one,Xbox one S and Scorpio

 

Ive got more One games to lined up waiting to be played than I ever did with the 360 for some reason. With the 360 I was always on the hunt for a game, if wasn't the latest title out I would be rummaging through the SH bins. With the generation im constantly
in a state of "please don't release anything else I want to play, im still busy with this title"

 

^^ Same here. I have a lot of games lined up ready to play plus a lot to buy still.

Before Microsoft announced BC was coming to the One, there were plenty of idiots on these forums saying the exact opposite of what you just said.

In fact, they said BC was impossible on the One. Fortunately the majority of the idiots have left the forums.

Personally, I think it's like having a 360.5

Except for the D pad, every BC game controls feels smoother on the 360.5. As for current gen games. Not enough content to justify paying full retail, and dlc is about the same with some devs even raising their prices midstrem.

So why not get your gaming fix playing games launched back in 2009 or earlier?

To be honest it was a big accomplishment getting it to work. Most anybody with development knowledge would agree and even MS said it was tough. I thought it was a long shot and would be tough and said so a few times. Maybe even here on these forums. But
with working emulation it would definitely be faster to move these finished games over than to make new ones. Just look at third party developers and the way they make games. It takes time. MS just has some dedicated to working on BC and getting those out.

 

People complained there was no backwards compatibility and now they're complaining because they are releasing too many?
