Is the Xbox App able to support the keyboard for XbOne games which make use of it?

I can use my Logitech controllers on the PC to do four player couch coop in Knight Squad when streamed from my Xbox One, when I can only do two player with the controllers I purchased for the system.

Is it possible in the future to type in details to the F2P game Neverwinter using the same keyboard on my PC in the future?

As it stands, for me to use the keyboard within Neverwinter, it relies on the keyboard I have plugged into the system... rather than the device I am streaming it through.

I don't mean to be cutting, especially as I can see how a priority for streaming a game console to PC would concentrate on the controller. However, between Project Spark and the game I am currently hooked on...

Well... you can understand where I am working towards without going too aggressively into the passive aggressive... right?

Currently there is no support for keyboard and mouse. There may be support in the future to be able to use a mouse and keyboard for game play.

Streaming Windows 10 games onto Xbox One Discussion

Yes but let's be honest, some games will never move over to xbox one. The image I am trying to paint is for example being able to stream Anno 2205 or a speciality RTS game such as starcraft 2, stream it to the xbox and actually have the use of mouse and
keyboard to play said pc game.

Apparently though mouse support is still in the works but keyboard is already here. They are looking to make mouse and keyboard work for gaming though apparently.

I understand how challenging this issue can be. I'd like to help you find a solution.

Which USB keyboards are you testing with specifically?

Do you have any other accessories connected to the Xbox at the same time you're trying to use the keyboards?

Mouse and keyboard does not work with all apps and games on Xbox. Which game or app are you testing the keyboards with?

Make sure you have all your console updates installed as well.

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. At this time, from what I can find, all keyboards and mouse are supported. Here is our

Keyboard and Mouse Article.

Although, a fancier keyboard and mouse that requires certain drivers for extra buttons/features may not be 100% compatible. However, You would still be able to use the base functions.

Note Xbox supports the use of mouse and keyboard in some games and apps, but it doesn’t work for every game or app. The game or app publisher must enable this feature for their content.

If you plug the keyboard and mouse in the Xbox, and the game supports them, then you should be able to stream to your Windows 10 device using the keyboard and mouse. Currently as far as i know the app still only supports the controller when connected to
Windows 10.
