Is the Xbox 360 Movies and TV app down? Every time I try watch a movie I get the Xbox...

I don't recall the TV app being taken away from the Xbox 360. Can you not find it from the TV and Movies section on the dashboard where it says get Your TV App?

When was the last time that you have watched your movies from the app?

Also, there has been no announcement about this being down but other work around is to watch the movies on other devices instead for the mean time.

You need to file a support ticket if you want anyone who might fix it to solve it

I would personally suggest upgrading to at least Xbox One. The Xbox 360 has been out of production for 8 years now, and support for video apps will only get worse.

That's understood, the systems age and all, but it is a subscription that's PAID for regardless.. So Microsoft needs to address the issue and the people about the issue.

The movies and TV app is not subscription based.

Also again, the Xbox 360 was discontinued in 2015. The only work being done on it at this point is security updates.

Apps for actual subscription services are ended all the time when the number of people using them falls below where it's worth it to continue updating them, , and there is no guarantee or promise of endless support for them.

The app and the things you purchases continue to be supported on Xbox One, Windows and Series consoles.
