Is the word "Biome" offensive in your language?

Didn't know where to post this as it's to do with Xbox Live itself and i can't find the correct forum for it in the dropdown menu, however since i noticed this in the Minecraft Game Hub figured i should post here.

Long story short, if i use the word "Biome" in my post it's being flagged as offensive and i can't post until i remove this word. I have looked the word on Google to make sure it's not offensive in other languages/cultures, however it seems to mean the same
thing in all the languages i read about.

So my question is, is this word offensive or not? If not then is it possible to get Microsoft to review this and get it removed from being flagged? Would really like peoples views on this.

The code of conduct. That you agreed to when you signed up.

Filters cannot detect everything, especially a misspelled word. So it's your responsibility to to stick to the code of conduct. While that word may not be offensive to you, it's a very well known word that is offensive to some which is why it's not acceptable.

 

A world that has it all

"What about swamp, snow, and desert biomes?" Am living in giant swamp biome thats 10 blocks above the stronghold. World also has snow, is where I found pack of wolves. And 2 desert biomes the one nearest the swamp is beautiful m8. Huge ocean biome surrounding
mushroom biome island. Big underwater ravine in ocean aswell. Am also tired of seeing too many clay deposits around the swamp.

I'm sorry to see any issues! As you can see, biome is not being filtered here on our forums, so we do not consider it offensive. Posting it in the Minecraft Game Hub would make sense considering you are working with biomes in that game.

Are you posting this on the Activity Feed or a Club somewhere? If you can, provide a video of what is happening so that we can see, and replicate, exactly what you are experiencing. This will give me a better idea as to who to send this to if we're able
to reproduce the issue.

Let me know! We'll get started from there.
