    Is the use of VPN on Xbox One authorized?


    Hello,

    I have have some serious lag problem on the game Elder Scrolls Online, it seems to be linked to the routing made by my ISP to connect to the game server, a solution would be to use a VPN service to force another routing.

    Before trying this solution I would like to be sure it's not against Microsoft policy as by doing this my Xbox would appear to be in Germany (or other european country since I try to connect to ESO EU megaserver) instead of France where it actually is.

    It's probably not the games you purchase, it rather seems like something with the connection, perhaps an authorization issue. Trying a VPN was a good idea, and it might solve it, but unfortunately, not all VPNs are equal. Have you tried these ones?
