    I don't think GoW 1 is getting BC because GoW 1 Ultimate Edition is coming out in late August, so its pointless to have GoW 1 BC.

    And yes, Microsoft owns the GoW IP now.

    Sorry to hear it. If the game still doesn't work after trying the steps listed by potatochip it may be possible that the ultimate edition is not compatible with the BC offer. This is because compilation discs don't usually work for BC.
