    Is the Seagate 1TB Expansion + hard drive compatible with Xbox Series X?


    Hi,

    I’ve currently got an Xbox One S but am looking to get the Series X, all my games are downloaded to the hard drive mentioned above, I can’t find anywhere online if this hard drive is compatible with the Series X, does anyone know? I’ve attached a photo of the hard drive below:

    Storage Device too slow error

    Xbox Series X|S games can only be installed on the console's internal storage or the external Seagate SSD card. Link here. External drives are too slow for those games. The external hard drive can only be used to install backward compatible games (Xbox, Xbox 360, Xbox One).

    flight sim and cod vanguard might not work on external hard drive.

    Games that are Series S/X enhanced will only run from the internal drive or the Seagate expansion card as those are fast enough to run the games. Backwards compatible games will run from any external hard drive.

    If it is a Series X|S games, then the game can only be installed on the internal drive or on a external Seagate storage expansion card
