    Is the Plex buffering issues ever going to be fixed?


    This issue has been going on for 2 years now, every blue moon it gets fixed but currently it has been broke since the summer. Plex will endlessly buffer after 10-20 mins of playback, if you exit the video you are watching and re enter it will play for another 10-20 mins until it starts buffering again forever This is a known acknowledged bug from both sides. This happens way more often with 4k HDR vidoes but can still hitch up on 1080p video

    Plex Devs can reproduce it and have said they have given the info to MS, Alot of us have reported it on our console dozens and dozens of times. In previous threads that no one will update u/GuruKronos said they were looking at it and the issue briefly appeared on the known issues list but was removed without it being fixed.

    When will this issue get fixed?

    has youtube updated and fixed there app

    It fixed my buffering issues it doesn't take 20 minutes to buffer anymore. Not sure if it's fixed freezing issues though but haven't had any today.

    Constant buffering for no reason.

    Just downloaded the new update.

    Same issues, just now with a shiny new interface look.

    Still no TV safe zone adjust, or fix to the buffering. Who ever is in charge of managing this project, should be fired. Their priorities are backwards.

    Yeah. Bought an XB1X primarily to play 4K HDR PLEX content. Getting with PLEX to get this fixed would be really nice.

    Tried the suggestion above and no change in the crap buffering , is this an xbox connection issue or a hbo go app issue?? Please fix ASAP as this is bad publicity for either xbox or hbo. Ipad works perfectly, are you telling me apple is better? Let's get
