Is the online game play really that bad??

I'm really considering picking up an Xbox One within the next few weeks. I'd really like to play BF4 for it but I've read quite a bit in the past few months as to how buggy the online is. Has it improved as of late?

The best way I suggest, is. Go online and have few onlines games. That way you can find people who play good(age doesnt really tell how good a player is.) Have a good luck

Online mode is awesome but it doesn't keep campaign save data.

 

I ordered BF4 used off of Amazon for $24 to ease the pain. lol I said I'd never pay $60 for it.

 

Still has its quirky issues every now and then, but not like before. I picked it up a few months after it launched and it still had some serious playability problems. They seemed to have fixed a lot(not all)of the problems and the game plays great imo. I
have 5 or 6 other games and I still can't stop playing BF4. I bought Titanfall at launch, played it for two weeks and haven't touched it since ,but that's just me. I'm a little spoiled by the Frostbite 3 engine I think. I say don't be afraid to pick up BF4
and play it as it's meant to be played in all it's 32 Vs. 32 greatness. So far it's the best FPS on consoles in my opinion.

 

I've been playing since launch and it greatly improved. For a short time it was truly broken and unplayable. Now a days, there's consistent bugs which you experience in most games but nothing game breaking, not that I've experienced anyway.

My only complaint is that I personally feel that the Rush maps are unbalanced. That said I personally wouldn't let BF4 put you off buying an X1.

Fun game - online keeps you coming back for more - it was broken for a while but seems to be back up and running good now. Get it!

 

Should have BF4 in the mail today or tomorrow. But wont have premium.

 

Online play is perfectly fine and the game is awesome! Ive had no issues since the launch when they had the solid bugs still lurking around. But since then its been running smooth.

My Tip would be to do a manual search for servers and make sure you get one with the highest signal rating. Doing quick match is great too but for optimum play I would browse. Your also able to save the server as a favourite for the future.

 

I'll probably be taking it back to GS and trading it in. It erased my campaign data. And I am horrible at driving tanks, jets, copters whatever. I always have been I hate racing games as it is. I'm very unhappy with BF4; I didn't play BF3 that much but
I sort of enjoyed it.

 

You don't have to drive/pilot any if those vehicle's though dragon. I'm not to good with anything that fly's.....well, I'm not bad with helicopters, unfortunately other people are better lol. You can always stick to being on foot like a lot of us do.

 

be a foot soldier, I enjoy BF not because I drive armor, I play BF to destroy armor. It's like hunting big game, and quite satisfying when you're able to lock down a tank/helicopter 'ho' by playing smart and out thinking them. Been playing BF with this mind-set
since 2005. I'm heavy in guerrilla tactics, Stay hidden, run suppressed weapons, keep engagements under 100 meters, distract, flank, attack, disappear. Take the objectives.

 

you gotta play armor smart too....if my tank is doomed, I'll ram it down the enemies throat, but otherwise I don't drive armor directly onto an objective unless I've got a clear line of sight for atleast 50 feet or better in all directions around the tank,
otherwise I over watch dismounts grabbing the objective....smart players (and there are very few) understand this fact and realize the tank is more useful functional than it is destroyed....otherwise stay on foot, support other dismounts and vehicles...."lone
wolf" players make better sappers .....whatever you do play to support the team for a win, not just pad stats
