Is the new Xbox One update safe yet?

No problems here. I haven't heard of many to be honest.

The Xbox One does not yet support background music, yet. The Update is just new and there should be a new update within the next days giving you background music.

Till October I could sit 1 Foot away from the console and not hear a thing, unless installing a disc but recently its been going mental adding there's a new buzz and is ruining the gaming experience for me.

also make shure that the unit is placed at a well placed area where enough fresh air can come in..

May it is loud because it Needs to cool down a lot, because the hot air can not go away in your stack..

Have you ever done a Hard Reboot?

Holding PowerButton on Xbox 1 for at least ~15 seconds untill it fully powers down! wait ~30 seconds until it is complet^ly Powered Down! The light of the Power Supply should turn Orange!

If it has turned orange unplug Power Supply from Xbox and from Electricity for another 60 seconds...

Try again... if it is still too loud request an Exchange or Repair..

But I personnaly have never seen a "total-dead-silent" Fan.

Yes XBox one is a console made for digital World, but it still Need some analog technics and mechanics to get something we call Hardware...

When I remember a running XBOX 360 Original, which has sounded like a Flagship the One is really quiet..

I know there is a silent humming, but I don^t believe that it can be erased as Long as the xbox one has this actuall design..

And as you said above you had 7 xbox one`s !! and all sounded the same.. so for what are you hoping? There must be a Sound that we know it is running. isn^t it?

called tolerance..
