    Is the Hololens the only VR head set Microsoft is making


    I read that the hololens will not come out for consumers till 2020 so is Microsoft making a different VR headset for xbox ?

    Xbox + Oculus = Pointless?

    What i like about this though is Microsoft has Hololens. facebook owner owns this VR headset so Microsoft aint really losing money and in a way its the same as sonys VR headset

    Could you use a virtual reality controller with Xbox

    Microsoft has their own VR headset. The Hololens, I am assuming that we should be able to use the Xbox One controller with perhaps some Kinect integration as well. But that is pure rumors and speculation at this point.

    Well the Hololens is AR which is totally different than VR.

    I wouldn't be surprised to see the Oculus Rift or the HTC Vive work to some extent on the ONE. Both companies have a partnership with MS so it's not out of the question. The X1 has weakish hardware specs so the games might not be that impressive compared
    to some super duper uber computer.

    Yea the Hololens is AR and needs a super computer to even run at the moment. I don't see it ever coming to Xbox One with the already dated hardware it has. It might come out on the Next Box or Xbox Two...whatever they are going to call it.

    I would love it if Xbox would bring VR to the console. However with Microsoft developing the HoloLens I'm not sure VR is what they are going to be working on for Xbox.
