Is the HBO GO app down?

Gotta love when the "support" decides to give you a solution that is absolutely impossible to implement, almost like they have no idea what they are doing. I talked to one of these jokers over the internets, and got the Classic Xbox "support" ("is the system
plugged in?"), before i was told that since they couldnt fix it, it had to be the developers problem, or even my ISP. What a joke.

 

i have this same issue. hbogo and twitch both buffer every 50s (twitch sometimes pauses every 10s to buffer). i thought it was my internet connection, but on no other device do i have this problem. in fact, watching hbogo/a twitch stream on my desktop (wireless)
has no problem, but the same program or stream on my xbox one buffers. this has gone on for a good 4 days now, and just last night hbogo gave me a "the video cannot be played. hbogo will now restart" error. my download speeds clock in anywhere from 95-140
mbps. i've noticed, however, on the xbox one, that the speed dips to (sometimes) as low as .5mbps.

hard resetting, uninstalling/reinstalling, unplugging, depowering gateway: none of these fix the issue.

 

HBO GO has not worked for me for about a month. I have Comcast Xfinity. The error occurs when I try to load up the app. I don't even make it to the home screen.

 

I got it up and running after trying Oberon's method and refreshing and refreshing my hbogo.

Nope still not resolved, has been like this for over a month. Have tried everything you have said, multiple times. I was really hoping it would be fixed as this is really annoying that I have to actually use my cable box to go into OnDemand.

Sorry to hear that the issue is continuing to occur! When you get a chance, please go ahead and try the following steps:

• From the Home screen, navigate to My games & apps.
• Under apps, select HBO GO.
• Press the Menu button and select Manage app.
• Select the HBO GO app and then select Uninstall.
• After you have uninstalled the app, press and hold the power button on your Xbox One console for 10 seconds.
  
• Once your console has powered off, wait 5 minutes.
• Power on your console and navigate to My games & apps.
• Scroll to the right and under Ready to Install, select HBO GO.
• Press the Menu button and select Install.
• Once the app has installed, try opening it to see if the issue continues to occur.

I received an email back from HBOGO Support today letting me know that the problem was fixed.

Up and running for me at this point!

 

I have tried multiple fixes for this and still cannot get this app to work. Only the error screen. I believe if I could just get into it to deactivate it, I could then reactivate it and maybe would work then. Using Charter internet with pretty high speeds.
All my other apps and online gaming work just fine

I'm having this problem lately to use the HBO GO app.

I used the described methods to solve my problem but unfortunately in vain.

This problem may be to some Bug app or own console system in case own the Xbox 360.

Sometimes the app works, other not.The Live is disconnected and consequently lost the connection the app.

I wonder if it will have an update for the functioning of the app if any bugs, or if there's nothing to do right now.
