Is the Gears of War 4 campaign any good?

I'm thinking of getting it. Does it have any replay value? I want it, but I don't want it to be over in 4 or 5 hours. Horde mode will give me a little extra life, but I'm not into MP.

Gears of War 3 vs Halo 4?

Gears of War 3 for campaign
Halo 4 for multiplayer.

 

It is fantastic Brandiesel , I'm in Act 4 and up to now there has been some really set piece moments and cliff hanger cutscenes. The campaign has some replay value , you can press RT or LT to go different paths but you end up in same destination , that happens
a few times . I've played about 10 or so hours and I still have the rest of Act 4 and 5 plus I want to get the collectables which I missed that adds to the replay ability . I hope that helps

 

I haven't started the campaign yet mate as ive been waiting for my buddy so we can co-op it. MP and horde mode is actually very good on this one though from my limited experience so far

 

Its a very good Gears of War campaign, but it is a 4-5 hour campaign on normal difficulty, I played through on Hardcore which added a bit of time, and it looks like it has the hardest Insane mode yet. The little bit I did try was....well....insane!
Im a fan and very happy with it but maybe if your not such a big Gears fan wait until the price drops. Horde is great with friends not so much with randoms and the MP is same as it ever was..
