Is the first Dance Central (Dance Central 1) on the Xbox 360 region free?

I checked Gaming Wikia and Play-Asia's Region Guide for the game. Gaming Wikia Says that the game is region free (NTSC-U/C, NTSC-J and PAL all work) but Play-Asia's guide says that the PAL region game will not work for my console. I have an NTSC-J console
in Singapore and am looking to buy Dance Central PAl version from eBay as it is cheaper for us here. But, both site's guides say different things, I don;t know which one to trust. Anybody out there who has the game, will buying the PAL version of Dance Central
work on my NTSC-J console? Also, is the game region free? Please reply. Thank you. I posted on Harmonix Forums but nobody replied there since a week.

Does anyone here have Dance Central 1?

Hi, does anybody here have Dance Central 1? Reason that I ask is that I have received Dance Central 2 for Christmas and would like to import Dance Central 1 songs through, but i've sold Dance Central 1. Does anybody have the code that is on the back of the
Dance Central 1 manual that I could use? I'm almost certain you can use this code unlimitedly, like on the sims.

Dance Central 2 Different Codes

Hi,

I believe the normal 25 digit code included in your Dance Central 2 game is Microsoft currency that could be used to buy and download Dance Central songs from the Xbox Marketplace.

The 16 digit code would be used to redeem in-game I believe to import/export songs from Dance Central 1 to Dance Central 2.

Respective regions will only work in their respective regions. So NTSC in NTSC and PAL in PAL for most titles. Again, it's hard to say for you, but you could always give it a shot I suppose :S

 

I just tried it out (the PAL version) and it works on my NTSC-J console. So, it can be said that the game is region free. You may close this thread now.
