Is the disk install progress accurate?

    Is the disk install progress accurate?


    Because I have definitely seen some GB differences when installing a game.

    For instance my friend and I both installed dishonored 2 at the same time (his tv right next to mine) and it said -disk 43.55gb and network 9.43gb. And mine said -disk 43.16 and network 8.75.

    is it supposed to be super accurate or just "in the ballpark"?

    Game not installing at all. Tried every troubleshooting suggested.

    I'm trying to install Call of Duty Ghost with the disk. When install starts it just sits at 0%. I let it sit for 20 minutes the first time. Then I tried to install after disconnecting my wireless internet connection but the install just ques till internet
    is reconnected and still no progress. I then removed the disk and reset the Xbox to factory settings. when the Home screen appeared I noticed the Call of Duty square pinned to my Home so I selected it and it gave me the option to install without the disk inserted
    into the system. It started the install but again never moved from 0%. I then inserted the disk and the install progress changed to paused so I restarted it, but again no movement from 0%.

    I've heard that this might be a Microsoft issue and not an actual system issue. Any help would be great.

    Game deleted

    I have actively install/uninstalled GRW a couple of times, and other games too - progress is still there next time it is installed.

    Did you loose a disk or something?

    Where are you reading this information? How are the games being installed (disk/digital)?

    Games installations should be the same size by the end, assuming both Xboxes are doing fresh installs.

    Tried it uninstalled and installed. Always screws up right after Freedom's Progress, and seems to etch a circle into the game disk.

    I'm pretty sure as long as your progress is on that Xbox, if you use the disk or buy it digitally, you should still have the same progress. As long as you own the game, your progress syncs. Also, there is probably something wrong with the disk, that is
    why it is not downloading.
