is the Avatar store an App??i cant find the avatar store for xbone

To get to your Avatar items and store from Home please press Left on the D-Pad and then Up to your Profile. Highlight it and go to the Profile page. You should see an option to edit your Avatar from there. The Store will be available as part of the Avatar

Ok, so there is a workaround, if anyone else runs into this.

Go to your profile and click personalize. There should be an option to create avatar, and that will take you to the landing page in the Xbox store to download the new Avatar app.

Like i said earlier, I did a search in the store for “avatar”, and only the classic Avatar app showed up, so for the moment, it looks like this is the way to actually find it in the store.

It happened when I opened the Xbox Insider app on September 5. The quest was there but the Avatar app wasn't. I looked in both the Insider content and on the Xbox store and wasn't able to find it. I found the old Avatar app though on the store.

you cant use purchases with the old avatar to the new one

you can still use the old one and you still have those purchases but the apps are completely separate

new avatars and new store for them
