is tales from the borderlands season pass issue fixed yet???

so whats the deal yo??? everyone whos purchased it from that telltale bundle have same issue; even ppl that purchased it separately only have the manage game part of it; is this something we have to re-purchase and get a refund for??? or is telltale and
Microsoft working on a solution or do they have one already??? I read a forum posting where official support says they are aware of the issue and so on; (please official support answer this) its getting closer to the episode 2 release date and don't wanna
be stuck on the phone with support when it comes out; an answer would be appreciated....

Telltale Collection On Xbox One Issue

Same issue here.

I purchased TellTale Collection, but Tales from the Borderlands season pass never downloaded to my Xbox One.

When I select manage Telltale Collection, Tales from the borderlands season pass is not included in the purchased files.

When I find Tales from The Borderlands at Xbox Store, It is not unlocked and still asks me to pay €12,74 to buy it.

Please fix this issue.

 

Purchased content will not download

Recently i bought "The Telltale Games Collection" bundle on the Xbox one dashboard for 55$ in the "Holiday Sale" category. With this bundle included "Game of thrones Season 1 and Season Pass, Tales from the Borderlands Season 1 and Season Pass, The Wolf
Among Us, The Walking Dead Season 1 and 2." Everything Was added to my queue except the Season Pass for "Tales from the Borderlands." Any help with getting this problem fixed is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

 

Hey there, vAsHdStAmPeDe41! I found you over in our 360 forums, and since this is an Xbox One issue, I have moved you to the correct forums.

This is a known issue, however there is nothing to resolve. This is how it is supposed to be. If you do not have access to Episode 2 once it is released, please post back so that we may look into it. Please do not purchase the season pass separately. You
will not need to contact phone support for this issue.

This is a know issue as stated above, since these forums and Telltale Games' forums have been riddled with this very same question since day one. However there is still something to be resolved!

When purchasing the Telltale bundle it states you will receive the whole games for Walking Dead Season 1, Walking Dead Season 2, Wolf Among Us. It also States you will receive the First episode of Game of Thrones, the Game of Thrones Season Pass, First Episode
of Tales of the Borderlands and the Tale of the Borderlands Season Pass.

I purchased this bundle along with everyone else for the xbox one, even though I have all these games on the xbox 360, I enjoyed them enough to buy them again. When purchasing the bundle all the games showed up in my Games and Apps download queue. Everything
EXCEPT Tales of the borderlands season pass. All the games downloaded and installed. Walking Dead seasons 1 and 2 and the Wolf Among Us all were complete seasons when purchased, so they download as a full game with no addons. Only Game of Thrones and Tales
of the Borderlands required anything extra and that was the Season Pass for both games. Game of thrones downloaded the Season Pass and when I check the season pass in the Xbox Store, it shows up as free and manage, since I have it flagged on my account as
being purchased. When I enter the Game of Thrones game and go to the download content, it shows all the rest of the episodes as upcoming and show them as being free and states I am a Season Pass holder. This is working correctly, that is how all these games
should look with a Season pass.

When I look at the Tales of the Borderlands Season pass in the Xbox Store, it states I must pay $14.99 to purchase, not showing free/manage like the Game of Thrones Season Pass. When I enter the Tales of the Borderlands game and go to download content, it
shows all the upcoming episodes and needing to be purchased and show a price for them and also the Season Pass. Unlike Game of Thrones which is flagged as purchased, it states I must still purchase the episodes or the Season pass again for Tale of the Borderlands.

The Xbox Account, Xbox Store and the game for the Tales of the Borderlands is not showing as flagged for the Season Pass. So unless this is fixed, when the second episode for Tales of the Borderlands arrive in a week or two, myself and other in this situation
will not be able to download it without purchasing it a second time. This is not resolved and ignoring it until it really becomes an issue when the second episode is released is unacceptable.

 

Hey there, Garou24! Thanks for the detailed post. We have previously spun this up to the appropriate teams to look into, and were advised that this is by design. Regardless of the way the Game of Thrones season pass works, this is the way the Tales from
the Borderland season pass works.

If Episode 2 comes out and you are unable to receive it for free, please post up a new thread detailing this. We can look into it further then. Thanks for understanding!

 

As I mentioned in my post, I have purchased all these games prior on the Xbox 360 when they were released. They have all required me to purchase the first episode and then episodes 2-5 individually or use the season pass. Each time I purchased the season
pass for each game, and each time the season pass was a separate download. Once downloaded the season pass showed up as free in the Xbox store and also under the download content in the game itself. The Episodes also showed up as free under the game as well.

This is the way Tale of the Borderlands is currently showing on my Xbox 360, but not how it is showing up under my Xbox One. If this is working as designed this is the only Telltale game working like this. Even the Xbox 360 version is working as all the
other games did, so this seems an issue with the Xbox One bundle.

Based on the years of purchases of these telltale games, and all the details I have explained, I do not see how Episodes 2-5 of Tales of the Borderlands will download for free. Being told to just wait until episode 2 is released to report the issue again
is absurd. It conveys a lack of understanding or caring towards your end customer, and means in a couple weeks we will not be able to play the games we have purchased when the next episodes come out. Then we will have to report the issue all over again and
wait for a fix.
