    Hi everyone, my first post here. I've been struggling with a strict nat type for playing games online with friends, and I was wondering is it Xbox or my internet providers fault?

    It was open nat type when I bought the modem from bell and never had a problem till a few months ago, and I've called Bell and they have no idea what's wrong with my modem or how to fix it.

    They tell me it's Xbox but when I called Xbox, they said it was Bell (internet provider). I'm getting desperate trying to fix the problem but I have no idea how to go about doing it.

    Does anyone have any ideas? I really appreciate your help, thanks!

    Unable to join game session... unable to join party

    I just connected my xbox directly to my modem today, and it shows that my NAT type is strict. Is that a problem with my internet provider?

    Xbox Constantly Disconnects from Xbox Live

    This may be an issue with your NAT type, what was your NAT type at the time. If it is a persistent "strict" you may need to contact your Internet service provider and find a solution in fixing your connection.

    Contact your ISP and ask if they can upgrade your net connection to IPV6

    You may have a NAT type problem. Verify this in your network settings in your Xbox. Click on Advanced Setting and in the center of the picture you will see the NAT Type. If you have moderate or worse Strict, try to talk with your internet provider. Make
    Open NAT available to you. In terms of all games, it's best.
