is premium worth it?

like the title says..I have xbox one and am on the fence about getting battlefield 4 with premium...what do you guys think?

the first step is understanding exactly what is included in premium. then you can decide if its something you find value in. Asking the opinions of a room full of opinionated know-it-alls won't be much help....=)

well.....when it works it's great......right now? ....thanks to the broken server stuation BF4 plays about as smooth as an early 90's 'Sparkomatic" CD player in a Chevy with bad shocks

^^ Yeah he's right, I'd wait till they fix the game properly before jumping on buying premium.

 

how about battlefield 4 in general? for the xbox one? should i wait to get that too?

 

like I said, it's a great game.....and eventually I'm sure DICE/EA/XBL will iron their crap out and when they do you'll be glad you have the game ...but buying now?...that's up to you

If you want to go ahead, it's still got a story mode. It's not very long and it only took me about 6-8 hours to beat it on the hardest difficulty though. It's not the best story either, the good stuff is mostly in the multiplayer. After that you won't have
much to do until they fix the bugs and get the servers working properly.

 

At the moment? I wouldn't recommend it in its current state.

The server browser on Battlelog has a functional server browser, on the console itself... well I'll leave it at that.

How can one go back to said room when they are already in it?

 

As a long term investment yes BF4 is a very good multiplayer game ... but as most people have said ... at the moment good when it works.

Once the server issues are sorted it will all be good.

If you are using server browser then searching on 'official' is a good way to find a good server, or even narrowing search to empty to jump into a server and then wait for it to fill up.

 

theyre all official right now, empty servers kick you out and when we could join em they never filled, and what makes you think theyl ever get servers sorted? rentals will come first then everyone will be so relieved

 

Not to mention the infinite loading glitch which seems to happen every odd game...
