Is new gen having problems upstaging last gen?

As of now, no but that's expected. 'm sure when games like Arkham Knight are released it will blow my mind.

 

IMO to much is focused on the looks a game, and yes processing of graphics is a major factor, some though has to be done with the things people don't think about, getting visuals better I would imaging is much more straight forward (in a very complicated
way) than programming how AI works.

The AI in destiny are certainly better than in most games but they still IMO don't offer enough depth. And I haven't compared 360 to XO but its still early days.

Halo Reach is my favorite game in the Halo Series

I wanted John 117 to go home back to Earth in the ending Halo 3, but obviously they need to keep the franchise going so that wasn't going to happend.

With that being said, I really didn't care much for the story of Halo 4 (although it was really good) and the only reason that I have Halo 4 is to play Spartan Ops (I love this mode).

I will not be getting Halo: The Master Chief Collection because I got Destiny instead.

I have no interest in Halo 5: Guardians and I hope that you enjoy it (Halo 5: Guardians).

Answer to the question is no, GTA V on next gen is quite a big jump up from 360/PS3. The whole process is going to take time. 2015 maybe the year where you see the difference, any game can take up to 2 years in production before it hits the market.

I think some people just want too much too quickly these days.

 

Hello everyone

Please don't get mad / angry at me with the following statement if you still don't have the Xbox One yet (the Xbox 360 is my #1 all time favorite console ever), but it is only when the games focus 100% on the Xbox One only will the gap be severed.

I am really glad that Microsoft is still supporting the Xbox 360 (because I still use mine a lot LOL), but I believe that by keeping the Xbox 360 versions available, the developers are being restrained to what they can make.

It doesn't matter if you make a game that looks better than real life.

If it's not a very exciting game well... it gets tossed into the "Meh" pile faster than you can say 1080p 60fps.

"Fracture" was a pretty decent looking game that was about as exciting as a glass of water.

If I want good looking I'll grab a mirror.

If I want a great game I'm gonna need a lot more depth than skin deep.

 

When games like the division drop or games that don't also have a release set for 7th gen, that's when we'll see changes.

TBH though, I'd still rather be playing on the one than the 360.

Its the same reason i wont buy an Iphone 6 - if i wanted 2012, i'd go and buy a nexus 4 (which still has better specs)
