    If a school network counts I can attempt to bring a different device that I haven't tested yet there (an old ipad), but the device that needs fixing is not portable to go to another network. My family is unsupportive of the idea of creating an entire hotspot solely to check if the issue is my network, in which I doubt as I was able to sign in to my Xbox account through my mobile phone a few hours ago.

    orginal xbox game wont play even if it says its supported in the orginal xbox game list

    If it says unsupported, then it's unsupported, you can't do anything about that.

    You can try to install the game to your Xbox, and play it from the install?

    Otherwise, you can find an original Xbox, and play it on there.
