    So my Xbox One S power cable has been difficult to use ever since I bought the Xbox One S, as the power cable has to be in the xbox socket just right for the xbox to power on, (and as I was plugging in my charger, that slight movement, was enough to push
    the power cable out), and as I was putting the power cable back in, the Xbox made an electrical pop sound. I think the Xbox One S still works, but I don't want to use it if it will be a fire hazard because of electrical faults, so do I just need a new power
    cable or xbox one s?

    Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you are having power issues. We recommend not using the console, as you stated could be a fire hazard. If the cable is that loose, it could cause a short and spark a fire. You can go to

    Yes, idk if it's broken or something but I can join parties on both xbox's, I looked it up and you need xbox live gold to start and join parties. The Series S has only my account, and my account has my series S as my home xbox, and I can still join parties and talk(I'm in one right now in fact).
