Is my Xbox One destined for the grave.....

So my xbox powers on and I hear the sound like the hard drive is reading for a split second and then it takes like forever like 20 minutes or so and it will finally get to the home screen. Then nothing, a few times I have just left it and it finally after
ages goes to the error code screen. So it appears I need to do the bind eject reset, but when I try I get no beeps at all even after holding for several minutes. Is my xbox dead and beyond help or is there something else I can do?

Mine did this a while ago iys5 also fairly old. When i was unplugging cables to reset it i noticed fluff all over the vents - i neglected it i know - once i cleaned it out it seemed much better

You have just shown not only persistence and patience pays off - you have also done a great service to the Xbox Community by now showing others there is a choice or many choices to try before quitting and giving up.

I would however start saving for the future and look at upgrading your Xbox.

twistedfrog you are a credit to yourself and to all gamers. You never quit.
Would you please write Post about what you did in order to fix your problem so that way in the future should someone come across this same problem they can read what you did

It is about 4 years old and I have now tried the factory reset keeping nothing and it now has error code E102 100 300C0280070079

So I then did the reset and said keep apps and games and after a while it has now come back with the same error code as above. Should I try again and keep nothing or is there another option?

Hey there,

By blind eject reset do you mean power cycle? That is where you hold the power button down for 10 seconds. Try that if you havent. Otherwise it could be a hardware issue. Depending on if your xbox is under warranty or not it may cost. You can find info on
