Is my OG Xbox 1 dying?

Can you watch this video I just recorded? Boot takes forever, black screen. I can tap the guide button which illuminates the screen, I can hold the guide button down to open the power menu. That's all I can do. Is there a "harder" reboot I can do other than
the power cycle by holding down the power button?

Selecting "restart console" from the only menu I can access doesn't do anything. Neither does the hard reboot.

How old is the console? and i suggest taking it in to Microsoft shop get looked at it.

There could be some sort of power failure happening because of the semi-dated hardware... You could try any of the power troubleshooting steps, I feel like you may either need to see about getting your console professionally serviced or upgrading to a newer
model of Xbox One. Servicing may be covered by the manufacturer's warranty depending on what the problem is.

You could try both versions of a factory reset to see if either help your situation. There's the soft reset that keeps your game and apps, then there's the full reset that resets everything. Here's the link with more details on how to do this.
