Is my new Xbox Series X broken already?

If you're experiencing stripes and splashes on the screen and crashes while playing games on your Xbox Series X, it's possible that there may be a hardware or software issue with the console. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

1. Check for updates: Make sure your Xbox is running the latest software update. You can check for updates by going to the "Settings" menu, selecting "System," and then "Updates."

2. Check your cables: Make sure the cables connecting your Xbox to your TV are properly plugged in and secure.

3. Try a different TV input: If your Xbox is connected to a TV through an AV receiver, try switching to a different input on your TV to see if the issue is with the receiver.

4. Power cycle the console: Turn off your Xbox, unplug it from the power source, and wait for a few minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.

5. Clear the cache: Clearing the cache can sometimes resolve issues with games and apps. You can clear the cache by holding down the power button on your Xbox for 10 seconds until it turns off, then unplugging it from the power source and waiting 30 seconds before plugging it back in and turning it on.

If none of these steps resolve the issue, I'm afraid this is already an issue with your Xbox so you may need to consider sending it in to have it repaired/replaced.

Yeah, there are already 2 brand new consoles the Xbox series X and the Xbox Series S. I think that the new Xbox series X is amazing, but I expect it will be along time before a new console is develpoped.

K but my (broken) series x I bought brand new that you guys sent me isn’t available for refund or replacement. If you send me a broken console I should get either of those.

With the Xbox One X you'll be safe to wait well after launch to buy the new Series X.

They've already said that launch games like Halo Infinite will also be launched for Xbox One consoles.

I've had my Xbox One X for over a year. I plan to buy the Xbox Series X for my main television and then move my Xbox One X to my living room television as my secondary console.

I would like to know if I could put my current Xbox one acount on to the new Xbox series x. Follow up question can I do this to put some of my owned games on the new Xbox series x.
