As others have mentioned, it's not compatible and no more updates are planned at this point.

You'll need to pick up an original Xbox console to play it.

Mortal Kombat games that are supported on the Xbox 360 are:

- Mortal Kombat: Deception (offline only)

- Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (offline only)

- Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 (no longer available for new purchasers)

- Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe

- Mortal Kombat (2011)

- Mortal Kombat Arcade Kollection

Generally speaking, only 5 games from the franchise aren't supported.

Probably because it's developed by NetherRealm Studios who brought you the latest "Mortal Kombat".



To their credit that was an excellent game.



To be honest, even "Mortal Kombat vs DC" was a much better game than may people gave it credit for.
