Is Microsoft Planning a Xbox one upgrade? (Like the xbox 360 elite)

I've held off on getting a Xbox one so far, just curious if its worth waiting if they have plans for a xbox one elite(or whatever they call it) I know they have had updates that have boosted the hardware but is there plans for a whole console upgrade.

How long till the 360 Loses Support?

Since they are planning on releasing a whole new Xbox 360 that looks like a Xbox One my guess is 7-8 years.

Any Fanatec wheel owners out there?

With Forza 6 out soon,i am yearning for the Fanatec wheel & pedal set up.

I owned the 360 Fanatec CSR Elite and loved it.

Anybody planning to buy the xbox one version? I would love to hear some feedback (ahem).

Echoing both comments in this thread - there have been no official reports, but tech websites have reported that a cooler processor is being developed, which will allow for development of a smaller cooling system, and in turn, a lower-profile console case.

That said, though, I would guess it won't happen for probably another year, at least. The Elite didn't release until 2007 (a full two years after the original 360) and the Slim (which had a lower-profile case) didn't release until 2010. This soon after initial
release, I would doubt they'll develop a "new-look" system for a while yet.

Unfortunately at this time Microsoft hasn't announced any plans for a new family plan for the Xbox 360 console. The plan was discontinued for a new Gold family plan which was implemented on the Xbox One. At this time if you aren't planning on upgrading
to the Xbox One, your best bet is to keep an eye out for special deals on Xbox Live Gold subscriptions. I would also monitor
Xbox News to be up to date on the latest plans for the Xbox 360 console.

I liked the Xbox 360 and the Xbox 360 Elite. The Xbox One itself was quite big, and then got a massive upgrade to the Xbox One X. And at first, i wasnt sold on the Xbox Series X design, but it's heavily grown on me.
