Is Microsoft (or the account owner) capable of doing a precision license transfer?

Long story short, I have three Xbox 360 consoles and three Gold profiles in my household. Most of the DLC is associated with a main console (old Xbox 360 Elite) that has now been acting up to the point of not really being usable (the disk tray refuses to
open), but because we have some double games with online stuff (Mass Effect 3, Assassins' Creed III, Battlefield Bad Company 2) and the Games with Gold-stuff, the licenses are spread all over the place. I am asking

I am asking now whether there is some way for me and the other account owners or Microsoft to ONLY transfer those licenses associated with the main console to a new main console?

License transfers don't work that way, and using it in a manner where multiple people will have access to content like that is called marketplace theft. The license transfer option is only to be used when an owner of an account is moving from one Xbox console
to another. It's not meant so the same piece of content can be transferred so the account owner and a friend can play the same game.

When you do a license transfer the account that purchased the game needs to be on the console as well after doing the license transfer to the other console. Microsoft can tell very easily when content is being used on different Xbox 360's simultaneously in
a very non traditional manner.

But why? If the Kinect is capable of precision control maneuvers then why not make use of them? I don't understand why you wouldn't want to use something the Kinect could be capable of doing. Now that said I have the hardest time in the world getting this
thing to do hand gestures. LOL. Seems like the only time it sees my hand is when I pick up a smoke. Is there something you're supposed to do first to get it to recognize your hand gestures? I don't try or use it often at all but the rare times I'm like "Hey
let me try out the hand stuff" it doesn't work for me.

 

Its only done per account, not console.

The way license transfers work is let's say XBL Alpha is the main account with 4 DLC's and then you go out and buy another console for your child so he creates an account on his Xbox and wants the 4 DLC's you have obtained. What he can do is download your
profile and license transfer those 4 DLC's so now he is able to acquire and play with those 4 DLC's.

The way you get an Xbox 360 License for the content you pay for is automatically obtained when you download that content.

However, there is a license restriction on what you can and can not license transfer. Such as, Movies and TV shows.

Content licenses are stored in the Xbox 360 console rather than in the Xbox Live account.

You can license transfer once every 4 months, but if your account is on 3 Xbox's or over you will not be able to download it to another Xbox360 unless you remove all profiles from every Xbox via Xbox.com

Answering your question more precisely, Microsoft can not transfer your license. That is your job via profile download.

My question is about the problem where I'd in this case wish to transfer only 2 of those 4 DLCs to the other console (because most of the stuff is on one console, except for items that where it would be stupid, like having three GwG-game console licenses
on the same console, or when we've bought two games with an online pass, it would feel like an enormous waste to put all that on a single console).

 

When doing a license transfer to another console you have no choice as to what is or is not moved.

With that being said (and I can't guarantee this has not been changed) when I had a second console in my house I did a license transfer to the family console. Only licenses for content that I redownloaded after the transfer were transferred.

Say for instance you have CoD: AW and Destiny but only want to move the license for Destiny. Do the license transfer and then download Destiny.

If nothing has been changed anyone will be able to play CoD on the first console and anyone can play Destiny on the second console. But, as I said, I can't guarantee that will work anymore as it's been quite a few years since I needed to do a license transfer
to a separate console.

You can do 2 out of those 4 DLCs. When doing a license transfer it goes to "Download History" and you chose what you want to transfer. With that being said, you can download whatever and how many ever DLCs/Games to that new account. You can always download
your profile to another console and commence the license transfer and transfer what ever DLCs you feel necessary to have on that new console.
