Is Microsoft giving old Xbox ones latency problems so we upgrade

hi all, has anyone with an original xbox one started to experience high latency. I have, i used a wired connection and both of my sons have xbox one S. When i plug either of them into the place where mine is then the latency is 16, when i plug mine in
its 163. Everthing is the same, all settings etc, the only difference is mine is a day one xbox and they have xbox one S’s.

I was getting lag and stuttering quite bad on PUBG and thats what made me check initially.

I only use wired for all the consoles, i have my house networked. I have tried the xbox network test on wireless and still got the same latency. It feels like it must be a setting in the xbox as i cant think of anything else. I personally have changed
nothing though. Thanks for your suggestion.

You could always open the browser on each console and run a generic speedtest. Pick the nearest server provided and compare.

Thanks for updating us with your replies! Sorry to hear that the latency issue is still around. As previously asked by XBF Diego, are you experiencing the lag/stuttering on your OG Xbox One as compared to when the same game is played on your Xbox One S consoles?

If you are getting the lag/stuttering during game play on the OG Xbox One that is noticeably different to the game play you get on the other consoles, then this may indicate that there is an issue with your network card in
the OS of the original Xbox One console. You would then have the option to
request a repair/exchange for the console if it is out of warranty, if you choose to do so, since you've done just about all the troubleshooting you can.

If you are not getting the lag/stuttering during game play that is noticeably different than on the other consoles, then you can disregard the latency test since it isn't hindering your game play. I would recommend at that point
to go ahead with a full factory reset to see if it helps out.
