Is it worth ?

I am planning to buy Destiny in 3-4 days. The things is that I watched like 5+ hours of PvE and PvP gameplay. I really like this game but I would also like to hear your opinions. Is it hard to obtain Exotic/Legendary gear ? And how can you obtain those ?
What's the best beggining class ? And also is anyone out there with a clan so we can do raids togheter if I buy it ?

Just got a couple of day ago myself. I have not played long enough really to make any decisions. So far it is pretty good.

I'm getting it on Friday and i'm wondering if it is better than the Beta.



Like I heard a lot of complaints about the servers but I know they'll fix it sooner or later.

Yes it is hard to get the gear you have to go farming. Just like any mmo.

you get what you put into this game, the more time you spend playing the more you will get out of it

 

This game is completely worth it I feel that I have gotten more then my moneys worth playing this game and I have barely touched the multiplayer tho I am getting into it more now. Just doing the story mode and all
the strikes and raids and farming for better gear has had me occupied for the last week straight lol. Getting gear isn't nearly as hard as a lot of people are moaning about... Yes the drop rate is extremely low but that's a good thing if it wasn't everyone
and their mothers would have them in no time and then the life expectancy of the game dies. If you put time into finding the gear you will find them I promise that there are multiple farm spots that will yield good results if you put the time in just google
it. Although getting legendary or exotics won't even apply to you till you hit level 20 anyway had that's the minimum level you have to be to wear any of them. the best you can get till you hit 20 are uncommons and rares and you will find those supper easy
just play playing the game. As for classes the Titan and the Warlock are the best classes for PVE/ the story and the Hunter class is the best choice for PVP due to it's insanely OP ability's that are good for PVP but worthless in PVE. Lastly there are thousands
of clans out there just log into Bungie.net go to clans and search for them. Anyway welcome to destiny now go and become a LEGEND!!

From my experience Destiny is great if you already have a group of friends to play with... if you are a solo player the game is just... empty... boring...

 

It's quite difficult to obtain Legendary/Exotic weapons, I'm level 24 and have yet to get a Legendary item. If you grind and earn reputation with factions and save up Motes of Light, Strange Coins, and Marks you can buy Legendary/Exotic gear which is time
consuming but probably the best way to go about it.

The is no "best" beginning class. It's up to personal preference really. I really like my Titan Defender with his sticky grenade and bubble shield, he has really good survivability and it's great for being a team player and reviving people in strikes, etc.
I would look up each one and look at their talent trees to see which sounds the best or most resembles your play style.

 

Its a great game but definitely best playing in co-op.

Not worth it in my opinion. The storyline is literally twenty minutes long. Story missions feel like you're doing the same thing each time only it may or may not be in a different area of the map. They all follow the same structure/formula. Aside from story,
there are strike missions which consist of shooting one enemy for 20min, then shooting another enemy for 20min and then it's over. Super boring. Feels like really lazy design for those and story missions. For my brother and I, the game has completely stopped
giving us items necessary to level up. I'm just playing the same boring missions repeatedly and accomplishing nothing. I'm honestly planning on trading it in and cutting my losses
