Is it the GAME or my CONSOLE? Please help.

My XONE continues to freeze, buzzing sound, restart, and sometimes completely shut down. It occurs while PLAYING COD AW the DOWNLOADED VERSION. Please help with any suggestions. I really do not want to send my console into Microsoft especially around the
holiday season!

Help please

Hey ive got the xbox 360 slim 250gb console which is around 6 months old as i got it at x-mas.

The problem im having is, is that anything i buy on game marketplace and install to my hard drive seems to lagg (as if its trying to load while im playing)

This does it on the new zombies map and its also done it with grand theft auto which it pretty much unplayable.

Is my xbox 360 faulty or is there something up with the hard drive?

It does it wether im connected to the internet or not and doesnt make a difference its its a waired connection or wireless.

Ive tried clearing the cache - formatting the hard drive - redownloading the games and map packs - re installed the dashboard (using the bumper keys to wipe it)

Why is my xbox freezing and not connecting to my internet properly ?

 

Mine doesn't do that and I have the downloaded version.

Have you tried uninstalling and then redownloading?

I know this may be a pain if you have a slow connection but I'm not sure what else you could do.

Would just like to add though that I use energy saving mode instead of instant on so tend not to get as many problems as others anyway due to the fact that my console gets fully shutdown when switched off

 

I will just suck it up later on today and uninstall the game and erase it and then reinstall onto my external HDD. I also will place it on energy saver. Remember the console has also done the entire freeze glitch restart or shutdown during all my games.
Disc or dl games. I have had it also just shut down completely while gaming or on explorer and different apps. I pray I don't have to send it in to Microsoft. And I don't want to waste my game stop warranty. I believe the employee at GS said I have a one time
return because the item is defective without using my 1 year no question asked exchange warranty.

Thanks for the tip. I think I am going to completely erase my internal HDD and external while returning my XONE to factory settings. If it does not work after all that then off to game stop or Microsoft to be serviced before using my 2 year warranty.

 

Have you tried the unplug brick for 15 minute trick? May help

 

Same thing happened with my copy. I had to uninstall it a total of 3 times. The last time I did it, I did NOT play the game while it installed. All other times I was playing through the single player while it was installing. It froze on Aftermath the first
time. Then on Biolab and it would kick me from certain maps on multiplayer. Haven't had any issues, other than the lag, since my last install. . . . . Pretty disappointed with the game and this will be the last CoD I purchase on launch. . . . Most of my team
has went back to Titanfall. . .

 

Hard reset. Hold down the power button for a little over 10 seconds. Then turn on. If that doesnt work you have a problem with the system and should not waste any more time and just purchase another one. You can try selling that one to help with the purchase
of the new one. Your situation is not common which in turns tells me that your system is shot.
