I had a 120V capacitor for my Xbox 360 which broke down recently. And all capacitors I can find on the internet are 135V, 110V etc.

Is it safe to use one of those capacitors for my console?

    :)

  3. is it safe to use a different console..

If your not doing anything against the Xbox Live Terms or COC (modding, hacking etc...) you should be fine.

    Hi

The Xbox Forums are not allowed to advise on this sort of thing the only thing we can do would be advise you to do is send your console to Microsoft for repair however as it sounds like you have already taken the console apart I
don't think this this option is available for you.

  5. My bad! I thought that capacitor was the same as transformer (English is not my first language.)

Still, would it be safe to use a higher/lower voltage transformer for my Xbox 360?

From your second reply it now makes me think you may possibly be looking for a new power supply that connects to your console and not taken your console apart.

If this is the case can you please try selecting the link below and as long as the console has been registered hopefully you will be able to purchase a new power supply.

Just to ensure we are both referencing the same item please see the link below about the power supply

  7. 1. Yes, we're talking about the same thing now.

    2. Thank you for your help, but my question was still not answered.

    3. My console lost it's warranty for a long time, I think about a year ago.

If you use the link below you should hopefully be able to purchase a new power supply directly from Microsoft.

Please not when clicking on the link below you may need to first register your console for it to appear in the list of devices. Once the console appears on the list if you select the console you will hopefully be able to purchase a replacement power supply
that will be the correct voltage for your shipping address used.
