    Just recently bought one, was just wondering if it is okay to leave my 2tb external hard drive plugged in all the time?

    Yep. shouldn't be a problem. I leave both my externals connected like that 24/7 :)

    If it doesn't have a plug itself, it should be fine. I leave my external HD connected to my Xbox at all times, along with my charging dock and there has never been an issue.
