Is it safe to keep Xbox One on?

I really like being able to quickly get on my Xbox and continue what I was doing but I want to know is it safe to keep my Xbox on all day? And also is it safe to just leave Xbox in standby mode 24/7 rather than unplugging and turning it off fully? I really
like keeping it in standby mode because then your able to quickly get on it but I'm just afraid that it can maybe mess up the Xbox.

I admit, I love achievements. It's part of the Xbox live experience. Hearing that "pop" after you accomplish something is a good feeling. With the achievement system having issues right now, is it safe to keep playing games and have the achievements "pop"
later? I don't want to play and then have to re-play it all again later just to get my earned achievements. If that makes sense.

Yes, you can still play games and your achievements will pop when the problems are fixed. Xbox Twitter Support has said this and I confirmed this on live chat for another user who asked. So feel free to play.

 

Hi there you can do both without any worry. Standby mode is the preferred mode so if there is a update available the console will automaticly download updates best thing ever.
