Is It Safe to Buy Xbox Game Keys from (removed) ?

I recently bought an Xbox Series S (my first Xbox since the 360!) and I’m loving it so far. I’ve been checking out different ways to get games and I’ve seen sites like (removed) selling digital keys for Xbox.

I just want to make sure that buying keys from third-party sellers like (removed) is allowed by Xbox, as long as the keys are for my region? I don’t want to risk getting banned or having my account flagged.

From what I’ve read, keys from authorized retailers are fine, but I’m not sure if (removed) counts as "authorized."

CD Keys aren't an authorised seller so buying from them does come with a risk of being banned

G2A is known for selling stolen keys and they frequently have keys removed by the devs for being fraudulent. I would recommend buying your games from the Microsoft store and other reputable retailers.

this happens with stolen or fraudulent keys, happens on all platforms too, if a dodgy key was used to claim a game then they have the right to remove said game from the account, your only recourse is to contact the seller of the key.

Was the key you purchased a key for the entire game or just for a trial? Where did you buy the key from? Please provide as many details as possible.
