    Is it possible to view looking for group posts for games you don't own on windows PC?


    The question I wrote above is quite general however the problem I'm running into is a bit more specific. When I used to play on an Xbox One I could go to any game's Xbox Page and view its looking for group posts even if I didn't own the game. Although this feature didn't help me back then with anything really, after switching to playing on a Windows PC I've run into an issue. The only way I have found to view looking for group posts on Windows is by launching the game and using the game bar looking for group posts feature, however this means that when I launch Minecraft the only posts I can view are the posts for the game "Minecraft for Windows" and not any posts from the wider and much larger whole Xbox community even though cross-play is possible between PC and Xbox players for Minecraft.

    To summarize, I am simply wondering if there is a way I can check the group posts for Minecraft from not just the Windows Players, but instead the whole Xbox community and if not is there a reason why this feature may never be added or is there the possibility of it being added. Is it possible to view looking for group posts for games you don't own on windows PC? :)

    Hi there, I don't own this game, but a good way to find people to play with would be to make a Looking For Group post and put in the description what it is that you want to do in the game.

    Hello PlasmaSyncz,

    In addition to my colleague's suggestion, the Looking for Group feature is included in the Game Bar.

    You can press Win+G and the Game Bar will show up. If you do not see it, you can click on the Widget Menu and you can select the Widgets you prefer, and even favorite them.

    Check the Xbox App and see if the feature is there. If you don't find a compatible feature, you can submit feedback through the Windows Feedback hub. The steps to give feedback are mentioned in this Xbox Support Article.
