Is it possible to use XBOX 360 Wireless Microphone with Youtube karaoke videos

Hi

I bought 2 Wireless Mic for my daughters - when i connected them to xbox and went to download the Karaoke app i am told that it is not available in my region - so there is only one game available. With just 10 songs - this is a pity.

So i wonder whether the mics can be used in other ways - for e.g. with youtube?

Xbox 360 wireless microphone work on Win10 with wireless receiver or not ?

My question is simple ! I saw those beautiful Microsoft Xbox360 wireless microphone with lights from the “lips” Game in a store. I would like to purchase them for playing karaoke game on my Win10 PC !

I have a Microsoft wireless receiver for it, and it work great with my 360 controllers. Question is, does windows recognize the microphone ???

Sorry but the wireless mics cannot be used with Youtube Karaoke. However, you can use them with other singing video games such as Rock Band, Lips, etc. If you are able to find some of those games you can use the mics for them.

hopefully it has English songs and is coming to the US. we need karaoke on the xbox one!!! I was hosting a pool party and was hoping to use the karaoke game for 360 but I found out it was killed. Hopefully they're replacing it with an xbox one version.

‘Karaoke @ DAM’ will provide an initial selection of 100,000 songs and corresponding HD videos with 200 new tracks delivered each week. A SingStar-esque scoring system called “Precision Scoring DX” is promised and videos of your performance can be recorded
with Kinect. There’s even a SmartGlass app that can be used to queue up songs and playlists.

Rates start at an appreciably modest $3 for 24 hours of access or $10 for 30 days.

I am going to recommend the Lips games. They can still be found on eBay, with wireless microphones, for a reasonable price. The Lips mics also work with the free Karaoke app that is also by the same company iNiS. My biggest complaint about the free Karaoke
app is that there is no way to gauge your singing, just words that light up on screen. The Lips games make it easy to adjust your pitch based on the on-screen bars and whether or not they fill up.

Hello Bluebird819, unfortunately it is not possible to use USB microphones on the One line consoles as it was on Xbox 360.

You will have to turn your smartphone into a micwith the Let's Sing Microphone-App and startsinging your heart out – the stage is yours! First launch the game, followed by the Let's Sing Mic App to connect the app to your console. Once connected, choose your song and sing.

The karaoke app is cool, but I also highly recommend the Karaoke Revolution series, which consists of 4 games, and most of the time you can find them with a microphone for only $20 to $30.

The first 2 are the Karaoke Revolution: American Idol Encore series, the third is just called Karaoke Revolution, and currently available at many retailers is Karaoke Revolution: Glee.

This series also has extra songs you can download from the marketplace, and some of the songs seem to carry over between the games.
