Is it possible to switch/transfer parent account with child account?

My son started playing Fortnite with my account, just because it was a much easier controller password. No idea at the time that he'd enjoy it so much, and then start adding friends from the game, buying skins, etc. Now four seasons into it there's been
quite a bit invested with the Live subscription, battle pass progress, dozens of skins, dances, etc. I'd like to have the benefits of the parental controls, but would lose so much in prior purchases if I just made him start using his own account. Easiest
thing would be to make his account the Parent and mine the Child, but I can't find any option to do so.

Thanks for coming to the forums with your question. Unfortunately, you are unable to transfer any data from one account to another. You can set up

home console so that your sons account can use the gold and games that you own. He would have to start over though.

Sadly an adult account can not be made into a child account. The option you are asking for is not possible
however you can suggest it as an idea.

progress made is specific to each account so there is no way to transfer over

Unfortunately nothing can be transferred between accounts. In order to continue using the achievements, etc. on the original account, your child would have to continue using that account, but it would not be possible to use parental controls since it is
an adult account (adult accounts cannot be converted to child accounts). He would have to start over on the child account.
