    Hey there cptgantu!

    Are you referring to setting your Xbox One as your account's home console? Any user can do that. If you're referring to having the Xbox One update preview registered under your GT, you would need your brother to invite you and wait for an invitation from
    the Xbox Preview Team.

    My brother in a really dumb move registered for the beta (for the now current dash) and in doing so apparently made his account the one XBL associates with console ownership, and its really starting to bug me I'd like to switch it to my account as I actually
    am the one that bought and paid for the console (thus I am the owner).

    Should br noted to network transfer you still need the purchasing profile on the other console to be signed in

    Network transfer is between xboxes it DOES NOT transfer ownership between gamertags

    Nor can it be used to switch home console it's is to reduce download

    If you are out if switches you would have to sign online

    To complete what you are doing you must network transfer then sign in on your brothers console to complete

    Then make it home console if he wants to use it on his profile

    If you don't have switches left it won't solve the issue
