Is it possible to restrict times on gaming only?

Hi all,

My Son has an Xbox One and we restrict the amount of time that he can use it via the Microsoft Family account. We restrict it as he is getting a bit too addicted to Fortnite so we are trying to keep an eye on what he is doing. However, he also uses the Xbox
to watch YouTube and other TV apps which we don't want to restrict.

Is there a way that he can watch YouTube etc through the Xbox once his allocated time has run out? Presumably using a Roku/Amazon Fire type plug in will also be disabled once the time has expired?

I have not tried a Roku/Amazon type plug. I have my kids setup like yours where it limits their total time and also time of day. I have not found anything to limit it by specific app. If you do go the Roku/Amazon type plug route then it will plug into
the TV itself provided the TV supports it and you would not have to use the Xbox.

And there aint a problem, is asking for a thing that is not possible in xbox one, at least for now, is not possible to "lock" the console. Can make parent restrictions to a specific account not to the console, like unable to buy games or other content,
limit the console access time (for kids), but lock only the console is not available.

It may be possible that the game may have already been submitted or there might be another restriction out there making it not possible to port (developer, etc.). The ideas are reviewed and only some ideas make it to the voting
stage.

but why only 320gigs..why is thr a restriction on the HDD anyway.

Why is not possible to use 500 or better 1TB as the games are geting bigger each year.
